Good but missing a feature
I have modified a version of this program so it can notify if the system does not report the actual memory the system should have. I have seen linux system have this silent failure where the system removes memory due to issues with it but this is a silent failure which is not easy to notice and impacts a system's performance.

a very usefull tool
It works very well on Solaris and HP-UX 11.11 and 11.23, but I have a problem on HP-UX 11.0.
I've compiled bb-hp-memsz.c 3.1 on a HP-UX 11.0 box (no failures). Unfortunately I got this:
#/usr/local/admin/bb/bin/bb-hp-memsz -f
0
#/usr/local/admin/bb/bin/bb-hp-memsz -p
0
I had a look in bb-hp-memsz.c and /usr/include/sys/pstat.h but I couldn't see what the problem is :(-
Could you perhaps help me?

It seems like it would be no help.
I dont like the way it is configured it seems like it wouldent ever help us accomplish anything whatsoever

Easy to implement, very useful
The first bb ext script I ever installed, and boy was it easy to use. And it's absolutely invaluable now, with some of the java processes we have hogging memory.
